Wonderful colored pencil piece. I think I have seen him a few times. Walking the beaches here on the Oregon coast. Love this portrait of a very wise man! Thank you for this great image Dee!!

Dee Davis replied:

Thank you Carolyn! I really like your art and style!

If you're out walking through the mountains and you look very carefully, you might glimpse Karl, the mountain wizard. If you do, you will very likely return from your trip ever so wiser.

About Dee Davis

Dee Davis

I began drawing pictures at age three when my dad, an art teacher, put a pencil in my hand, gave me some paper and a few basic lessons in drawing. Since then I've been fascinated with the artistic side of life, studying, viewing and participating. Over the years my work has ranged from small engravings to 4' x 8' paintings. I've worked in colored pencil, acrylic, watercolor and oil doing landscapes, portraits, abstracts and whimsy. I love creating this imaginary world as well as painting abstracts and a variety of more realistic subjects. I donate 20% of my profits of Imaginary Cat sales at FAA to the Humane Society and the ASPCA.
